Vocals
Mary Barclay has been singing since childhood and, now at the age of 35, is well known and respected as part of South West Scotland’s music scene.
Mary is a strong vocalist with a modest and natural charm. She has the capability of performing any type of song from a rock classic to an acoustic ballad that touches the heart.
Mary has the greatest respect for every genre of music. She is influenced by artistes such as Joni Mitchell, Melissa Etheridge, Eliza Gilkyson and Chrissie Hynde.
In recent years, Mary has started writing her own material and one of her dreams was realised when ‘Let It Fly Tonight’ was released earlier this year.

Guitar, Vocals
Doug Carroll is one of the most talented guitarists in the UK and beyond!
Having played guitar since he was a teenager, Doug is passionate about music and, as well as being a founder member of the Sensational Mary Barclay Band, he also teaches guitar.
Doug admires many musicians, particularly guitarists such as Mark Knopfler and Jeff Beck but his biggest influence is the late, great Rory Gallagher.
Doug has co-written the tracks on ‘Let It Fly Tonight’ but has also written music for film and television. More recently, he went to Nashville, USA to promote songs with writing partner, Colin Smart.

Drums
To be called ‘Sensational’, someone in the band surely had to be a fan of the one and only ‘Sensational Alex Harvey Band’ – that was drummer and founder member, Scott Taylor who is truly the backbone of the group. Scott is an exceptional drummer with many years of experience.

Keyboards
Owen Fielding is an extremely talented pianist and it's been a pleasure to have had him in the band. Owen played piano/keyboard on 'Let It Fly Tonight' and co-wrote 'Blackbird'. Hopefully, we'll work together again in the future.
